David Dolan came to the School District of Palm Beach County in 2017 from Palm Beach County government, where he worked as a Capital Improvements Senior Project Manager for over 10 years. Mr. Dolan’s education and experience in both architecture and civil engineering disciplines led to his management of various capital programs, in excess of $50 million annually, specializing in park facilities and office building renovations/hardening. Prior to working with Palm Beach County government, Mr. Dolan was employed as the Operations Manager/Security Director for Jonathan’s Landing in Jupiter, Florida.
As the Deputy Chief of Facilities Management, Mr. Dolan oversees the departments of Building Code Services, Diversity in Business Practices, Environmental an d Conservation Services, Facilities Services, Facilities Construction and Planning and Intergovernmental Relations. He is also managing the 2016 $1.6 billion Sales Tax Referendum and has more than 440 employees within his division. David Dolan has lived in Jupiter for 17 years with his wife Nancy and his four school-aged children.
