Mr. Donald Maxwell is the CEO and principal of LiveIT Lab, LLC, DBA LiveIT Academy, which was incorporated September 2006.

On graduating college, Mr. Maxwell pursued a career as a Computer Programmer/Analyst in the banking sector and later entered the travel industry where he gained invaluable Project Management experience. In 2002, he turned his career focus to the teaching profession and accepted an offer to teach at the Computer Career Center in New York. He later moved to Florida with his family and accepted a position at Florida Career College, West Palm Beach as a lecturer teaching various IT related courses.

LiveIT currently partners with Career Source Palm Beach County, Goodwill West Palm Beach and the Urban League Palm Beach County to train individuals in eight Information Technology (IT) disciplines namely, Computer Repair, Microsoft System Engineer, Microsoft System Associate, Microsoft Office Specialist, Cisco Network Associate, Database Administrator, Web Design Specialist, and Technology Project Management.

In addition to its’ academic focus, LiveIT provides many small and medium size businesses with IT Consulting Services, as well as technology installations including data, VOIP, and security networks. LiveIT provides computer and network consulting to the following sectors, Education, Public Entities, Law Firms, and Healthcare (HIPPA compliant regulations). Notably, LiveIT partnered with Clean Channel to deliver computer network infrastructure at the West Palm Beach International Airport for remote advertising. This has contributed to LiveIT’s excellent reputation and receipt of various awards and recognition.

Mr. Maxwell’s career encompasses 14+ years in the computer industry and 21+ years in the post-secondary information technology education. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and has obtained the following industry certifications: Wide Area Network Engineer (WAN), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Administration (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA).

The group includes: South Florida Water Management District, City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, (Office of Small Business Assistance, Department of Airports and Palm Tran), School District of Palm Beach County, City of West Palm Beach, Center for Technology Enterprise and Development (TED Center), and PARAGON Florida, Inc.
